01What these terms cover

These terms cover your use of this website and any request you send through it, including a request for a free Ownership Check. They are not the agreement for a project. That is a separate document with a scope, a price and a schedule in it, signed by both sides. If the two ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.

Using this site means you accept what is below. If you do not, please do not use it.

02Asking for a check is a request, not a contract

Requesting an Ownership Check does not create a contract, does not reserve capacity and does not oblige either of us to anything. No payment is taken on this site and there is no checkout here.

We may decline a request. The usual reasons are that it is outside our service area, outside what we do, or we do not have room this week.

Work beyond the free check begins after a written agreement, and not before.

03What the Ownership Check is, and is not

The Ownership Check reports what public records showed when a person read them. It covers the domain registrant and registrar, the expiry date and auto-renew state, where DNS points, who appears to be hosting, whether a transfer lock is on, and whether email routes through the same account.

Public records can be incomplete, privacy-protected or out of date. Where a record is hidden behind a privacy service or a reseller, we say so rather than guessing, and we tell you what it would take to find out.

The check touches nothing belonging to you or to anyone else. It needs no passwords and no account access, it does not connect to your site's admin, and it does not notify whoever built it.

The record card on the home page is a sample, for illustration. It is labelled as one. Entering an address there runs no lookup and returns no findings.

04Published prices

The prices on this site are real starting points for the scopes described, not estimates designed to be revised upward once you are on a call. We publish them so you can decide without one.

They can change, and the price that applies to you is the one written in your proposal. There is no separate or higher rate for rescue work; a rescue is priced from the same published tiers as any other project.

05What we do not promise

We do not guarantee results. Recovering a domain, a hosting account or a site depends on registrars, hosts and third parties we do not control, and on decisions by the party who stopped answering. Past work is not a promise of a future outcome.

We publish no traffic, ranking, conversion or revenue figures anywhere on this site, because none have been independently measured and verified.

Timeframes we publish are the timeframes we work to, and they assume we get what we need from you when we need it.

06Nothing here is legal advice

Ownership of a domain or a website can be genuinely disputed, and that is a legal question. We are not lawyers and nothing on this site, in an Ownership Check, or in any conversation with us is legal advice.

Where a dispute is real rather than a misunderstanding, we will say so plainly and tell you to speak to a lawyer, rather than guess and let you act on it.

07What you send us, and what is on this site

You keep ownership of anything you send us. By sending it, you confirm you are entitled to and give us permission to use it for the purpose of answering you and doing the work.

The text, design, code and images here belong to Sun Coast Digital Media LLC unless credited otherwise. You may read, quote, link to and share it, including quoting it in an AI assistant's answer. You may not copy it wholesale to pass off as your own.

Registrar, host and platform names are the trademarks of their owners. Naming them describes where work happens. It implies no affiliation, partnership or endorsement.

08Availability, limits and governing law

We aim to keep this site up and correct, and we do not promise it will always be either. We may change or remove anything on it.

This site and its content are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude warranties that are not expressly stated here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects a consumer right you have under Florida or federal law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts of Broward County, Florida have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
